The Three Rs(Reasons) and The Three Cs(Changes)||Views about Nigeria my country 🇳🇬||
Greetings to everyone here. I'm glad to be here in the Pakistan community representing my country Nigeria.
It is today that you are going to make you decision whether to visit Nigeria or not 🙃.
Nigeria is a country located in west Africa and it is the most populous country in the whole of Africa and with lots of cultural diversities. There are lots of natural resources in the country especially the natural gas and large deposits of petroleum. The Nigerian flag has two colors that is divided into three parts 🇳🇬. The two colors are green and white.
The green color represents natural wealth while the white represents peace and unity.
In this post I'm going to outline three reasons why I love my country and three changes I need to be made.
I will start with the problems of Nigeria, things I want changed ine country. And then I'll tell you the positive part of the country so that you can see how great Nigerians are.
Three changes I want in my country
Below are the three changes I want to be made in my country Nigeria:
High rate of unemployment
Due to high rate of unemployment in the country, most people who graduate from the university end up with no jobs and they end up selling or hawking things in the market.
Because of this, many people in the country has started to view education as a waste of time. I wish that there could be more job opportunities in my country so that people will not end up being poor and struggling so much to get money.
Street hawking for children
Because of the poor situation in the country, most children are forced to the street to hawk items.
According to estimates, children who are between the ages of 10-14 are involved in child labour and street trading. This is the situation that arose out of the need to solve problems such as poverty, unemployment and so on. These young ones are exposed to many bad things in the street.
I view this as unfair to the kids. The kids miss out on good education and many other things and they do the work that is above them.
Measures should be taken to end this in the country.
Electricity problems
There is also electricity problems in some part of Nigeria.
In Nigeria, there are low supply of electrical energy in some areas while other areas there are almost non-existent power. People living in those areas find it hard to do some things that need electricity. It will be nice if something could be done about it.
Yes, these are some of the many problems that need to be looked into in Nigeria. I know that not all country is perfect and Nigeria is not exempted.
Now after seing all of these problems, I'm going to tell you the beautiful aspects of my country and how they cope despite all these challenges that we face.
Three reasons why I love Nigeria

Culture diversity
Nigeria is a country known for its diversity in culture. The Nigerian culture is shaped by the multiple ethnic groups in it.
Nigeria has over 250 ethnic groups in it and the major ones are Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba. Among all of these ethnic groups, there are differences in language, food, choice of music, etc.
- Language
The different ethnic groups in Nigeria speak very different languages, where I am from we speak the Igbo language since I'm from the Igbo tribe.
The official language of Nigeria is English and this makes it possible for us to communicate with our fellow countrymen.
Nigeria alone speaks over 521 languages and over 1150 dialects.

The Africa lifestyle (part one): The language 🌎
- Food
Every ethnic group have their own language types of local food especially soup. Each ethnic group in Nigeria has a type of food they are recognized with.
There are lots of food and vegetables in Nigeria and all of these things are what spice up the quality of life in Nigeria.

- Dance and music
Each ethnic group have their own style of dance and choice of music.
The differences in dance method and choice of music is always fun. Visiting other places and watching their dance is simply amazing and for these reasons Nigeria is a fun place to be. Below you can see a cultural dance I performed wearing our cultural dressing.

The people
Nigerians love to have fun and they are enthusiastic people despite the country's negative situations. They still maintain their joy and turn negative things into jokes.
They always adapt to every situations and make the best out if it.
Despite the problems they face, they still find time to enjoy themselves and be happy.
Nigerians are very hardworking people from adult to children. We are independent people since we no longer depend on the government to provide things for us. We have to pay for everything, education, electricity, and many others. Nigerians work hard independently to take care of the things needed to be done.
Because of their hardworking nature, they do not consider themselves to be lacking in anyway.
We can easily buy things from the market and streets.

They are also very hospitable people. There is almost no discrimination in Nigeria, everyone dies things together no matter which tribe or ethnic group you belong to.
Values/norms
Nigeria is multi-ethnic society and our value system is gotten from the diversity of people, culture and religion. The values shared here are meant to sense of responsibility and hardwork among citizens of Nigeria.
Values shared in Nigeria include the following:
- Respect for the elders
- Obedience to parents and other older ones
- Modest dressing
- Maintained dignity before marriage
- Stick to your spouse
- etc.
All of these values protect the citizens of the country, and there is lower rate of misbehavior.
Those and more are the reasons I love my country Nigeria.
It is a very beautiful places that hosts tourists from different places. If you ever come to visit, know that Nigeria is a very hospitable country and we will accept you with open hands 🤗

My country is the homeland of my blood that must always be guarded and fostered. Your country is indeed not much different from ours, Indonesia, here too many graduates from the highest universities are unemployed. However, your country is indeed very extraordinary. and as good citizens, we should be proud of our homeland. I used to hear that in your country there are often conflicts, is this true? Hello friend, it's nice to know that we have things in common in our countries. Yes we are always proud of where we belong.
Where I live, there is no conflict and I've not witnessed any, but I happens in the northern part of the country where the capital is located.

Me encantó la parte de los valores nigerianos, es algo que no debe perderse en ningún país, y veo que ustedes subsisten más por su cuenta que por la del gobierno, eso hasta cierto punto es bueno pero hay cosas que deben solucionar ellos, como por ejemplo que los niños estudien en vez de estar en las calles vendiendo para conseguir algo de dinero para sus gastos .
Espero que pronto puedan surgir cambios que los beneficien a todos .

Thank you friend. I really hope those changes can be made and those poor children can be assisted to study at a good school. Some of them go to school but they have to go and make sales when they get back instead of resting or studying.
Some of them are forced to do it because they live far away from their parents and the people they live with use them as slaves while others do it because their parents do not have enough to provide for the family.

Language in Nigeria is just crazy. While it's a nice thing, it seems Nigerians were the ones spearheading the tower of babel.
A language have more than a hundred forks (dialect). Just one state could be seen having more than 10 languages and more than double the amount of dialects.
Hahaha, The language thing is so confusing, getting to another state in your own country you feel very different because of the language. But the variety is fun though 🤗

In South African we don’t get street hawking by children. What you will find here are kids begging on the street corners which is so much worse 🙈
