Hello Steemit Pakistan, I'm glad to drop my own entry for this engagement.

With much findings due to the world's advancements in technology and discoveries, there have been some archaeologic proofs of certain existence that way long ago , before the birth of the Madien name Nigeria, other societies with good moral cultural values has been birthed reflexly on the soil of the nation called Nigeria.

The diversity of languages has been an awesome show for foreigners who visit the country. If I am to dish out a summary sequel to culture, I could write an encyclopedia and more. I am @liams1 and I'm previllaged to be invited for this engagement by @bright6126, and I will be taking a case study of my country's culture from the middle belt of the nation, sited at Benue State, cathegoricaly on the TIV people.

Ethnic Relations of the Benue Tiv people

All ethnic groups in the nation Nigeria has been said to have it's own fiction and nonfictional stories on how they came to be via it's ancestral soujorn, crossing rivers and deserts before becoming dwellers. We have even heard tales of people descending from the sky as founders of tribes.

History has also identified Neolithic Humans who dwelled in the present day Nigeria way back even before the naming and also almagamation. Without much I do about nothing, and not deviating from the course I will be explaining indepthly about the Benue tribe called the Tivs. Without a correct calculation, the TIV people have been censused to millions of people dwelling between both half's of the Benue river with a lengthy kilometer of about 220 from Niger Confluence. The name TIV has a common ancestral link with the hausa name Munchi

TIVland extends from the latitudinal and longitudinal bearings of 6°N - 8°N to 8° - 10°E though Tiv natives reside scarcely on the north east regions of that area. The TIV natives also possesses bothers with the foothills of the cameroons which they claim to originate from.

Affiliation of Linguistics

The TIV tribe possesses just a single language which they all intelligently express in their association with each other and activities., Although there is a little diversification in the language via the area a TIVlander comes from in the region but the subdivision is still categoriacally classified into the bantu language in the Niger Congo family.

Cultural Values

culture

For the cultural values, I will be breaking it into several segments for clearer understanding. Occupation: The TIVs are said to be Farmers, as they they cultivate crops like yams, cassava, sweet potato, tomatoes, millets, okra, cottons, beans, rice etc and also rear cows. There ladies also get involved in industrial arts like pottery, basket weaving etc children do cotton clothes and men make beds, chairs, needs, stools, mortars etc. They are also respected for their blacksmith craft of making hoes, dig sticks etc. All TIV tribes keeps to a rule of Five Market Days cycles for their big markets, which aids small sales on other days. Division of labor is an essential rule by the TIV people as men do the more hectic jobs in the farms like mounds making for yam cultivation and clearing of bushes, with political businesses why the ladies weeding, planting, havesting and selling. The women are to handle the cooking and rearing of the children which could be theirs or related to the family.

Family and Marriage

Marriage

Marriage they say is a union of two, and the TIV people respects this so much as a culture. The TIVlanders are involved in a unique form of marital exchange, where by two men could exchange their sisters, making the children from the union double cousins. Any of the lineage that has gone three to for generation deep is then called a "ward sharing group" where by the women in the group can now be assigned to any other the men in the group as a guardian who will then exchange her for and woman as a wife. Although, the TIV men also follows their heart as it isbt a rule to follow the train. Marriage in TIV could be used for debt clearing which could also take generations to clear. This marriage is called "Kern" and it means accumulated. Women are giving veto power to seek divorce and not men, although men could be very manipulative to act bad so the women could leave. All male children return to their father's compound when they are 8year old and Girls stay till they are due for marriage. Every married woman has her own hut as soon as she bares a child for her husband. The huts of the women surrounds the man's reception hut, with all women having her hut and ban where she stores and cooks food to bring for her husband. Inheritance The male lands and properties and given to the sons of the man and it passes that way from generation to generation, while the women's properties are handed over to their daughter inlaws.

Beliefs

The TIV tribe associates their worship to the Otiose God (sky God), they also give acknowledgement to ancestral spirits and pay Homage to them and also offerings. Although they are not worshipped as they are nither considered to be evil or good. There is a spiritual force recognized by the TIV men called Akombo which could be a symptom that symbolises spirituality which could be used for ceremonies of healings and fortune tales. The Akombo is even added to their art and craft as lucky charms. Men who have mastered the act are then invited in the healing ceremonies which occurs at specific times of the year. After Life: The believe of after life in the TIV people isn't essential as they feel they can't acertain if there is a possibility of Afterlife.

Conclusion.

The TIV people are culturally active as they take it as a way of life to them, they appreciate the cultural values of foods like pounded yam which is done by the wives during evenings and mornings the loud "gun gun gun" noise could be heard aloud as they sing and pound. I hope you learnt a thing or two from my post.
