Assalam o alaikum and best wishes from my side. Before starting this topic, let us talk a bit!!.
Preparation of any festival either cultural or religious has its own charm. I believe preparation takes more interest than its celebration. Everyone wether old or young has some enthusiasm and excitement for the preparation of festivals.
A night before the festival it's preparation has been started. And mom's of desi family start calling their sons and ordering them and requesting them to please bring this , bring that.
Sisters requesting their brothers to go to barber and then go with them to the shopping mall for the end time shopping.
It's the charm that put life into the festival. Everyone is busy with their task which has nothing to do with but they did!!. I don't know about other countries, but in Pakistan, in middle-class families, it's mandatory to go out the night before the festival to collect nothing but outing. To see the street light, to see the fish market and to eat what's available.

Well, Muslims have mainly two big religious festivals as a reward. The one is EID -UL- FITR & the other is named ; EID -UL-ADHA. Both has their own importance. We can't say that one has priority over other, NO. Muslims around the globe understand the importance of both of their religious festivals.

Right now, all over the world Muslims are celebrating their event called Eid-ul-fitr. It's celebrated after the Month of Ramadan. It's the gift from Allah to His creatures who fast for the month and not only fast but also fulfil all of his orders and obey them with kind heart and soul.

Eid-ul-fitr, as I said before, the preparation of the festival is begin the night before the festival.
Mom's prepare Sheer Korma or Siwayya ; Custurd and Fruit trifel for the guest to come on next day . Dad bring sweets from shop and Chewra as the main demanding snacks. The grandmother of every home has given a duty to cut all the Mewa's in small pieces for Siwayya...

On the morning of Eid-ul-fitr, all the men took bath, wear new clothes and put perfumes. At sharp 7:00am , all the men of the family went to perform Namaz e Eid . This may be in Ground or masajid, where it's suitable. While the women in the home, clean the house and get ready for the prayers. Women perform the prayer at home and after start preparing the breakfast for the men who will be back from masjid and immediately ask for the breakfast as there is no more fast!!.

In my family, all of my chachus and brothers along with my father went to masjid and after that direct go to dadi's home to meet her and pay her salam and greet her and took blessings from her. Meanwhile, we , women at home, perform prayers and go to dadi's home to wish her, hug her and took blessings from her.

Note : our dadi lives in our chachu's home which is in our street so there is only a walking distance.

After visiting her, we came back home and serve breakfast. And after all that, it's our prime duty to sleep for a long time as there is nothing to do with it!

Seriously im not joking, everyone of us sleep well and awake at 5:00pm in the evening. Get ready again and took pictures. And then eat and go to sleep. The first day of my Eid is this simple!!.

The fun begins on the second day of Eid when all my phuppos visit us and cheers with us. Me and my mom cook delicious dishes for the guest. It's our tradition that there is a mandatory sweet dish along with the spicy one.
So we decided to make biryani as the main course and lab e Shireen in sweet dish.

EIDI DISTRIBUTION :

The distribution of eidi is the best part of Eid-ul-fitr. The elders of the family distribute the eidi to the kids and the young one... Mother's kept on standing by their kids to collect the eidi as they misplaced them and then cry after that. But in actual, this eidi is reverse back to the kids of aunts and uncles. But sometimes not all the time. And then our eidi finally return to us when once we reach home.

The 3rd day of Eid is the official susral days for the married one and Nani's day for the unmarried one. Well a part all of these, Eid Ul Fitr has its own charm and importance.

Eid Ul Fitr lasts for three days and then the normal routine of life will continue as it was.
People who work in office join their offices as the Eid holidays ended.

This is all from my side. I hope you people enjoyed reading my post. I wish you all good luck and I invite @nimrazahid and @moohsin to participate in this weekly challenge-2!!.

Singing off,
