The Diary Game | September 2nd, 2021 | Day Trip to Turtle Beach

People say do not be friends with colleagues because they are your professional connections. I believe it is the frequency which matters. If people, be it friends, colleagues, boss or anyone out there, resonate with your frequency and interests then they are no more than a blessing. It is a blessing for me that I am able to work with people having similar interests as mine. They are adventurous, outgoing, fun loving and very friendly souls.

Trip Location

Icing on the cake is that one of my colleague owns a very beautiful and classical beach hut at Turtle Beach in Karachi. So whenever at work place, we feel boredom or low on energy, we just pack our stuff and go there.

Trip Execution

We went to the Turtle Beach on last Thursday. It was raining cats and dogs here in Karachi so it took us almost an hour to reach there. Thankfully, we weren't late for the pleasant evening and calm sunset. We had chicken patties, tea, drinks and some snacks with us. After enjoying the food in the beautiful hut we went out to the beach. I have very intense hydrophobia so I just remained at the edge of the beach where waves barely hit.

Rest of my friends went a little far and enjoyed their time. We sat in silence and observed the sound of the waves. It was so peaceful. After that we got back in our hut and just sat to observe the sunset. The transition of the sky from calm blue to deep orange was very fascinating. It really felt like as if bad vibes are coming out of the body and vanishing in the atmosphere giving myself a sense of relief and relaxation. It was getting darker very quickly so we packed our stuff, got in our car and went back.

Trip Advice

Beach huts in the locality of Karachi are beautiful and can be easily accessible. Advice mainly could be of the route that has to be taken to go to the beaches to avoid the hassle of traffic but as I am still a newbie here in Karachi so I can't elaborate much on this. There is this Mauripur Road and Lyari Express I think so. You have to choose one (correct me If I am wrong). One thing which I would repeatedly say is NOT TO DIVE IN THE SEA UNLESS YOU ARE A PRO SWIMMER.

Trip Gains

I went there having full of bad energy due to tiresome work and came back as a refreshing soul. Even though I did not went far in the sea for a bath or anything but I must say I came back as if I have bathed in the sea of satisfaction and peace. That is what nature does to you.
