There's More to a Cup of Tea....

The morning sun was pouring light through wide windows in the living room and making a cozy warm spot on the couch, exactly where I was sitting.

I was scrolling down through my phone's gallery and realized that I like capturing my tea or coffee as there were quite a few snaps of those.

In most households of my country chayee (Tea) is like a solution to half of daily problems.

Have a headache? Drink tea.
Guests are coming? Make Tea.
Breakfast time? Drink Tea.
Raining? Make Pakoray and Tea.
Nothing to do? Let's drink tea.

Before getting married, my family gathered in the afternoon in my parents' room or outside on the home lawn. I used to prepare tea and sent our house help to bring freshly fried samosas from Market or some English snacks from Cafe. We all used to sit together and talk while sipping tea and eating snacks.

Now that I am married, but whenever I visit my parents we still have those chayee sessions. And here with my husband, we have a chayee session after dinner. Sometimes we watch a show but mostly we read books or I do Steemit.

The picture in the thumbnail of this post was taken in a hotel room. I love checking room snacks and tea baskets. This picture brought back some relaxing memories. Although, I was so tired that day.

Then there's another picture. This is a coffee that I had while enjoying the afternoon sitting on a bench amidst mountains. There are so many memories attached to it. I was having the time of my life with a group of amazing ladies surrounded by beautiful mountains.

I know this post is so different from my usual style. But I think we need to take time out and wonder about little things in life too. For me writing about it is the best way to feel it properly.
