I like your proposal but I am afraid increasing the upvotes for the newcomers' program will lead to more abuse. In fact, upvotes had already been increased 2 months ago. But the thing is, right now there are so many abusers who make multiple accounts and exploit the newcomers' program.

We shall encourage newbies to start creating their own content in other communities, engage with others, and get noticed, instead of delving into the number of votes they get.
