It is truly a pleasure to look at the variety of exotic plants and fruits in your parents' garden - none of which grow naturally in our latitudes.

I would have found the snake incredibly interesting. I'm sure your children would too. Don't scare them, otherwise they will lose their childlike, open-minded desire to explore nature... ;-)
