Steemian Buddies! i hope you all are doing very well and living a healthy life. I am Awais Rasool from Punjab, Pakistan. I am going to write for the second time in this instructive community. Our Punjab is full of cultures and colors and am also sharing an experience of My Own Street.

Pakistani society, especially those living in small towns, villages, Big Cities some extent would be well aware of these vendors who roam the streets selling food and drinks on bicycles, carts and motorcycles. Which is popularly known as "Pheriwala پھیری والا" in the local language. They have small speakers and continuously play a recorded sound that indicates the food items available at that vendor. As is the very famous recorded sound "Papad Karare". Also there are different recordings according to the food item like "Chatwala Aya Jay" and "Barf Waly Gooly". It is impossible for that vendor come to your street and you can sleep peacefully in your home.

In recent times, almost every house is being built with solid bricks, due to which small children are not able to dig mud and build small mud houses. Therefore, most of the children entertain themselves by collecting dust and dirt in the street outside their houses and making small houses, and when such vendors pass by, the children run away and get money from their parents and rushed back towards vendor for getting desired food item.

Such vendors are no less than a blessing for the middle class families and their children because in the summer season they cannot afford the expensive ice cream of the big shops but these vendors provide them with cheap ice cream. One of the features of such vendors is that you don't need to have money all the time to buy from them, you can give them spare iron, dried bread, etc. and take food items in exchange.

Among all these food items, my favorite is Aloo Chana Chaat. I also ate at expensive restaurants, but there is no substitute for buying from this vendor and eating while standing at corner of street near to the vendor. Their features include that it is not necessary that you have must 50/100 rupees, then they will give you a plate, they make a small paper plate and give you a chart based on the amount you have. In today's routine and busy life, we should find time for ourselves, and enjoy this kinda stuff but not habitual it could be harmful for health some extent.
