Power up: A guide to belong to a club

Did you know that powering up is one of the ways that helps with your savings here on Steemit?

Hello fellow steemians. Hope we're all doing great. Just after powering up a few days back, so many things set in that I could share the steps with us immediately.

Good thing is that, I'm still doing that today, and I'm excited to do that.

Powering up is a way to show your support for the platform and helps in sustaining the platform for you and other users.

Recently, I decided to power up after I noticed I was going to be out of a club soon. Asides helping the platform, you belong to a club that helps you stay supported.

Quickly, I’ll take us through the process of powering up.

First, start off by going to your wallet. Click on where you have the wallet icon and move down to where you have your steems. Here, you can click on the dropdown arrow to show where you can power power up and perform other tasks as you desire. But since we’re focusing on power up, let’s stay with where you’ll find it.

From here, you can click on power up and this will take you directly to a new page that’ll help you convert your steems to steem power. This is to say that your steem could either be transferred out completely, or converted to steem power depending on how you want it.

The next step is to input the amount you want to power up in the given box, and click on power up.

You’ll be taken to where you’ll confirm transfer to vesting. After you see this, click on okay.

The next thing to do to complete the process here is to input your active key. This is to complete the process and allow it to show the new balance in your wallet.

This way, your power up is completed successfully, and you belong to a club.

Personally, I like powering up half my steems which makes me a member of club5050.
So half your steem makes you belong to club5050, a three quarters of your steem takes you to club75, while powering up all your steem makes you a member of club100.
You can decide to power up based on your financial stand, or choice.
