My Favorite Festival

Which festivals are celebrated in your religion, village, city, local area or country?

I am a Muslim. When I talk about the festivals of my religion, many festivals come up. However, Eid-ul-Fitor and Eid-ul-Azha are among them. These 2 festivals are known as major festivals of our religion. We all rejoice in this festival.

Apart from that, there are some festivals in the area or the city, kite festival is one of them. This kite festival is an old festival in Dhaka, which is a city in our country. At this festival, everyone starts flying kites and enjoying.

Among these festivals, my favorite festival is Eid-ul-Fitor. Because Eid-ul-Fitor is the most joyful festival among the religious festivals of our Muslims.

We fast for 30 days before this fasting. After fasting for 30 days, our Eid day comes. Eid means joy. And this joy floats in the best tide of joy in the minds of us Muslims.

We share this joy with everyone. On this day of Eid, enemies and allies mingle. They started to spend the day peacefully as before, mingling with each other. This Eid has brought peace to the atmosphere as everyone smiles and mingles with everyone. So this festival is dear to me as it brings smiles and peace to everyone's face this Eid.

Last time I celebrated my favorite festival with much joy. I shopped 2 days before Eid at the market and bought Punjabi pajamas, shoes, shirts, pants, etc. Because it is one of my favorite festivals and we all wear new clothes at this favorite festival. It makes our happiness better.

I take a bath in the morning, eat semai, and dates and finish the Eid prayer. After the prayer, I meet my Muslim brothers. Moreover, I sincerely respected the Muslim brothers. Then I spend time with my family and take blessings from them.

Then I met my friends. I enjoy some moments of joy with them. In the afternoon our friends went out for a walk. After the tour, we sit down to a nice restaurant for dinner. There we continue to enjoy happy moments in a good atmosphere. Our joy lasts till night. Then come at night and enjoy dinner with family.
