Hello my steemit friends i hope you are all doing well and enjoying life. I enjoyed celebrating special moments and events that brings people together in my religion we celebrate many festivals but my favorite ones are Eid ul fitr and Eid ul adha today i wants to share with you why these festivals are so importants to me and how i celebrated them last time.

Festivals we celebrate.

In islam we have two major festivals Eid ul fitr and Eid ul adha. Eid ul fitr come right after the holy month of Ramadan during Ramadan muslims fast from sunrise to sunset and Eid ul fitr is the celebrations that marks the end of this month. Its a time for happiness givings thanks and shared food with family friends and those in need.

Eid ul adha also known as the Festival of Sacrifices honors the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim AS to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. On this day Muslims sacrifices an animals usually a goat sheeps or cow and distribute the meat to family friends and the poor.

My favorite festival.

Among this two my favorites is Eid ul fitr the reason i love Eid ul fitr is because of the joys it brings after a month of fasting. It feels liked a reward for all the patiences and self control we show during Ramadan on this day every one wears new clothes visits family and friends and enjoys delicious food. There is a special feelings of unity as we gather for prayers and give charity to help those less fortunates. The spirit of sharing and caring makes this festival extra special for me.

How i celebrated eid last time.

Last time i celebrates Eid ul adha with my families at home in the morning i went with my family to the mosque for the specials Eid prayers. After the prayers we hugs each other and said Eid Mubarak which means Blessed Eid.

Back home my mother made a big feast with many delicious dishes like biryani kebabs and sweet dishes like sheer khurma. I wore a new dress and visited my relatives where we exchanged gifts and enjoyed sweets together. The best part of the day was receiving "Eidi "which is money given to children and young people as a gift. It was a day full of happiness laughter and love.

Eid ul fitr is my favorite festival because it brings people together in celebration teaches us to give and share and fills the day with joy and blessings. I always look forward to it every year.
