How I joined steemit [1]
Steemit has really been in existence for a long period of time and I joined when the platform was already more than 5 years old. Before joining steemit I was always writing short storybooks and novels, I still have these unpublished books with me and I mostly see that as my babies, they are so important to me and I can't afford to lose any of them to fire, water, termites and so on.
Almost every month I was writing a book, is never easy and I suddenly got used to the process even after I left it for more than 5 years when I was in my final year I'm primary school and also while in junior high school, I started writing during the lockdown when I was in senior high school because I never had a phone and I was always dreaming of having one because there are so many things I really wanted to check online.
While in senior high school, some of my classmates discovered am a writer and they were always putting interest, requesting to read some of my books and I was always careful each time I give them, I never allowed them to take the book home because I don't want anything to happen to it, I didn't want to take any unnecessary risks.
One of my classmates discovered steemit through his elder sister and he also thought that I will be very capable of joining this platform so in 2021 October he told me about steemit, he asked me if my poems were written by me with my brain and copied from nowhere else and I nodded, ofcourse I used to write poems too and I was aldo writing sad musics have always been a depressed person in the past. Waiting for part 2, what happened on the first week you joined steemit? Did you get support from the communities?
To me I didn't discover steemit on time, though I was more matured in 2022 than 2020 which was the year I was saying I should have joined steemit but thank God I didn't join then, I won't have gotten the opportunity to write alot of storybooks during that lockdown.
At the beginning I didn't get support from the communities. The story still continues anyway.

No I would have gotten the opportunity but I won't have been able to write many that period because some of my attention will be in steemit.
