Mechanical Keyboard : What it takes to clean this beautiful keyboard

The world has changed a lot and it will continue to improve in coming years. What we see today as modernization might be old fashion for our kids just after 10-15 years of time.

Today I share how a mechanical keyboard that belongs to my hubby becomes a headache when we have to clean it. I will share with you about the struggle of cleaning it.

In above we started removing the keys one by one and that is done by a key remover tool that you will get with your mechanical keyboard. Believe me this is really a difficult task and it takes a good amount of time.

But there below you will see that we did it and it felt like winning a 500 meter long race.

Below I clicked a pic just before I was about to remove and clean the entire keyboard. There was a lot of dust for which I was worried about how will I clean them but I found ways.

So below you can see all the keys as well as the keyboard which looks naked, haha. The only thing I liked about this thing was that the keyboard was still feeling good while we were typing on it.

If you remember where the keys are you can use it like that as well. Just kidding, better not go with that idea.

Finally below you can see the keyboard after I clean it completely. I used ear buds to clean them and it took a good time no doubt but at the end of the day it was a wonderful feeling.

Now after everything was fine the new problem is that, keyboard is not working well. It was behaving differently for sometime but after few hours I notice the improvement in the keyboard.

One advice that I will give, never use liquid for cleaning your mechanical keyboard even if it is a very less amount of liquid.
