In a World of Artificial Beauty, Choose Gratitude || 10% Beneficiary set to @steem-nations
Assalam u Alaikum, how are you all? I hope you are doing well. So, I was quite busy these past days and didn't get time to post. Anyway, today I felt like writing on this topic, which is being grateful for what you have and not being ungrateful, not feeling sad or envying someone just because they have something that you don’t.
Why did this topic suddenly come to my mind? It happened because I was watching YouTube, and a video passed by my screen in which I saw a person getting fake eyebrow treatments. I was shocked to see what’s happening in the world—people are going to any extent just to look perfect. Like seriously, fake brows? Why, when you already have natural ones? After watching this, it came to my mind that people do not show gratitude; instead, they are always ungrateful for everything. The Almighty has created everyone unique. Some have certain things, and some don’t, but every person is perfect in their own way. That’s why you should be grateful because when you thank the Almighty for what you have, He will bless you even more.
But maybe it has become human nature to desire everything that others have. Remember one thing: when you learn to be grateful in every situation, the Almighty will keep you happy in every situation. He will bless you so much that you will get tired of thanking Him, but He will never stop giving.
In today's show-off world, people have become so crazy that no one wants to stay natural. Everyone wants to become perfect in some way or another—plastic surgeries, skin lightening, false lashes, and who knows what else people are doing. And truly, I don’t understand any of this. I like everything just the way Allah has created it, and we should be grateful for that.
