Though am quite new but participating and making post helps one to understand steemit better. Looking at the situation in the country, it's good to invest for future

WHAT IS INVESTMENT

To invest means to allocate money with the expectation of a positive benefit or return in the future.

WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO INVEST IN STEEM:

Investing in steem gives you many benefit and places you on better advantage than those who don't invest.

1. Investing in steem gives you the opportunity to trade steem in both directions ie you invest by contributing to steemit network. This can be done through regular posting in the community.
2. It encourages the user to share and post content and when this happens, the user will gain steem token.
3. Steem power: steem power is the portion of your earning that gives you the power to earn from voting. The more steem power you have, the more you earn from voting and also you have more value. 4. Influence: when you invest in steemit platform, you gain influence and it is steem power that gives you the influence.
4. Investing in steemit platform is way of equipping yourself financially incase of anything you have something to fall back on.

IF I HAVE INVESTED BEFORE:

Yes I have invested in steemit platform when I joined newly. I bought steem to power up my account.

To power up, first click on the steem icon, then once the drop down comes out, click on power up.

Next put the number of steem you want to power up, then click confirm or ok.

The steem goes into the steem power.

WHAT TO ACHIEVE BY INVESTING IN THE PLATFORM:

By investing in steem you achieve a lot of things:

1. More power: You have more power as regards to steem because you have greater advantage than those that did not invest because your steem will be growing daily.
2. You will be earning your authors reward and curation reward. Authors reward are earned when you make post on steem. Once you are consistence in making a post, you will be earning your authors reward. You also earn your curation reward by voting and liking a post. When you vote a post, the author earns and you earn too.
3. When you power up, you are increasing the value of reward you get when you vote on people's post. The more you power up, the bigger your steem power and the bigger vote you get too.
4. You will be earning steem daily or weekly by the time you have build up your steem power.
