A memorable day that was the last day of 2024 and the first day of 2025.
Hello friends, I hope everyone is well? Alhamdulillah I am fine.
I am @sheikhtuhin From #Bangladesh
Dear friends, there will be many memorable moments and memorable days in life. It's not possible to remember them all, but there were some unforgettable moments in 2024.Maybe even after a century has passed, they will remain in the pages of memory.
Today I will share with you how I started this new year.Where two religious holidays were spent outside my house on December 31, 2024, and January 1, 2025.
The main driver of the current political climate change in Bangladesh is the anti-discrimination student movement. They once called for the overthrow of the government from here, but even after years, the movement has not been successful.Even if the country could be freed from dictatorship, there was no way it could change the people of the country.
The political landscape of the country has changed, but the security guarantees for the coordinators have not changed. So there was a student program to issue a proclamation for the July Uprising, but it was all drama and then stopped.Even though it stopped, the students showed how much fear they still had. They showed that it was twenty-four, meaning 24.The students' program that day was March for Unity.
Our departure was at 11:00 AM, so we left here at eleven. However, we were worried that we wouldn't be able to reach on time. The same thing happened.Anyway, we went to our main point during the Ramna, and students got off every bus in our district and started chanting slogans with hand microphones in their hands.Where our slogan was,
Delhi or Dhaka,
Dhaka, Dhaka.
Although these were originally intended as a protest against a number of reasons, including violations of international law on the borders of present-day Bangladesh,There were also several notable slogans, including "I have given blood, I will give more blood."The rally that was supposed to take place at 3:30 p.m. was disrupted by all these slogans. At that time, there was a crowd of people at the TSC premises of Raju Bhaskarya, and at the same time, a rally of Bangladesh Chhatra Shibir was going on nearby.
When we arrived in Dhaka, it was exactly six o'clock. We also knew that we couldn't do anything by going there now, but we could definitely go there and meet with our dear coordinator to let her know our work.So we went to the VC premises of Dhaka University and when we got there we heard some strange slogans, these are
Hasnat,
Credit card.
Although it was serious for a while, after a while I realized that it was mainly people from Hasnat's area who were asking for money from Hasnat.Since our area coordinator is Mahim Sadiq, we went to him and spent some time with them. And from there we went back and had to stop at the National Parliament Building area, but the problem was that the bus drivers would not leave the car unless they received the fare.I got into a big problem.
At ten o'clock at night, the wheels of the car started turning because the coordinators had paid the money. After all the money was paid, our car started running, but we were unable to return home that year. By the time we returned home, it was January 1, 2025.
Just as we were laughing on the road, the New Year began after arriving in Nabinagar, Savar, so we stopped the car and celebrated the New Year there.Still, there remains a resentment because this time we are away from home on New Year's Eve because of the coordinators.
On the last stop on the road, two friends had two cups of coffee, which cost 50 taka.According to Steemit's price, it is around 2 to 2.50.Still, it felt good because we were able to have a small picnic without paying a dime. This was my last memorable day of 2024.
Thank you very much everyone |
