Mis queridos amiguitos y amiguitas, no me malinterpreten, che. Mi mamá es mi mamá y yo la quiero. Pero parece que a ella le guste que todo el mundo se entere de su nivel de educación y de lo de mi padre. Y, por supuesto, de nuestra pobreza también. Sin embargo, como ya les conté, mi padre y mi hermana, y hasta mi abuela, se mueren de vergüenza por ello...

Dictionary and slang:

HECHOS Y FECHORÍAS: literally, it would mean misdeeds, but here is purposely facetious.

SER MUY SUYO/SUYA: it's a Spanish idiomatic expression, meaning to be peculiar, unusual (sometimes, it also means maniac, even in the good sense of the word). Literally, SUYO/A is a possessive pronoun, related to the third singular person. SER is the infinitive of the verb to be, conjugated in the third singular person in the story.

CHANGA: look at clase n.5 tercer acto (lesson n. 5 third act).

COTORRA: literally it's a bird, a kind of parrot, but when related to people, it means to be whisperer, blabbermouth, gossiper. For the following videoslide, I chose the image of this bird to add some amusement😂.

CHE: it's a very common interjection, a famous slang word from Argentina, everyday used to grab people's attention (the same for the English BRO or HEY). My cousins in Buenos Aires used CHE quite often.

Here the video-slide with the pronunciation (and the cute bird cotorra😂):

I registered the pronunciation and added an image for the video-slide from Pixabay, among those can be freely used. You find it here:

DIEGO'S DIARY (=EL DIARIO DE DIEGO): lesson n.6 second act

Hello, my dear friends, you need to know that the one who tells us about the "deeds and misdeeds" of my parents is the grandma. My sister and I spend a lot of time with her. My father would also like to spend more time with us, but he never has enough time for the family, because his job, even though it's a changa, is very demanding. He works much longer hours than usual to make ends meet. As for my mother, well, she is very peculiar, so my sister and I prefer grandma for "confidential questions". If my mother starts talking about her life, there's no way to stop her until the whole condominium, or rather, the whole Argentina, finds out. It's not that my mother is a blabbermouth, no, but... almost....
Hey, my dear friends, don't misunderstand me. My mum is my mum and I love her. But she seems to like everyone to know about her and my father's education level. And, of course, about our poverty too. However, as I already told you, my father and my sister, even my grandmother, are dying of shame because of it...
