Pulau Kenawa?
As you see the topic for this post you will think,what is the meaning of this?Pulau Kenawa is an island.And the fact that make you suprise is that this island has the shape of Sri-Lanka.So this island is called as mini Sri-Lanka.So today I'm going to tell you about this wonderful island.
At the first sight you saw it you will sure think this is Sri-Lanka.But it is not this is PULAU KENAWA island.I will tell you some facts about this island that I found from Social media.
You can see it is a quiet,calm and peaceful island.As far you can see there the island is covered with grass.Andalso there is a mountain at the end of the island.Kenawa island is widely known among the Indonesian domestic tourists.
Location,
Kenawa island is located at the northwest side of the island of Sumbawa.It is not far from the harbour crossing of POTO TANO.This island belongs to POTO TANO administration.To reach this island we have to hire a fishing boat from POTO TANO harbour.As per the records it takes 20 minutes from the harbour to island.
Beauty of the Island,
Kenawa island has beautiful natural scenary.The combination of green grass,mountain,sandy beach and ocean with blue water made island more beautiful and stunning.This island is only 13.8 hectares long.As this island was not visited by many tourists,the island is so quiet.
Wherever you cast your sight you will be able to see a beautiful sea view.When you got to the top of the mountain you will be able to see other islands around the Kenawa island.
On the edge of Kenawa island there cabanas.So you can get shelter from the sun and rain.However most of the tourists visit this island planning to camp.Camping is allowed in this island,but there are lot of strict rules and regulations.
In the dry season the grass on the island got very dry and you are not allowed to form any type of fire.Andalso most importantly you are not allowed to leave any garbage,but if you got caught leaving garbage you will get punished.
Wow this is something that is totally new to me. It's honestly like a green version of Sri Lankan map.
