Hope Volunteer's,Very first charity programme.

I think now you all know about HOPE VOLUNTEER'S community.Now there are over 60 members in our community.At the begining there were only 15 members.As a member of this community from the beginning I'm so proud to see where we are today and as a community what we are today.

Everything has a reason to be born.So for our community to be born there is a reason.There were some of my friends that who joined NATIONAL YOUTH CORPS.We all know that from NYC they are conducting charity programmes.But only the bigger names are highlighted on those programmes just like politicians and high class personalities.We were so angry for that.Our anger motivates us to do charity programmes by our own hearts.There were 15 including me at the begining.We had a get together and had a discussion.So we decided to go by our own name.On 2018 March 15th we name our community as HOPE VOLUNTEER'S and started doing our charity events.

We were so hungry to conduct our first charity event.As the April month begins we decided to visit Bandarawela Elders Nursing home.We decided to give them their lunch and some gifts.We decided to conduct this event on April 17th 2018.So on 14th we had a visit there.There were more than 30 elder moms and dads.

As this is the begining our parents helped us so much.As we decided to give them the lunch we have to create a proper food menu.

At about 12:30 all of us reach there with the foods we prepared.They were so happy to see us.There lunch time is 1:00 p.m.There was a big table.So every one came and sit at their proper places.So we started giving them the foods that we prepared for them.

They enjoyed our foods a lot.At the end we gifted them some plants that we brought for them to plant.

I think they were so happy to see us because they can't see their children.Most of the moms and dads were there because their children took them their.I heard that one mom saying that.I was so sad to here it.

They gave us only two hours of time to stay at the elders home.So sadly we left there.But we are so happy that we finished our first charity programme without any problem.

We are going to conduct our next charity programme on next march.And that is as fallows.
