Celebrating Founders Day
Yesterday, June 14, Lyceum International Schools celebrated its 31st Founders Day with pride and joy. Having joined the Lyceum family just a year ago, this was my first time experiencing this special day.
The day began with a special assembly where we heard an inspiring message from our founder, Dr. Mohan Lal Grero. He shared his vision for the school, reminding us of the importance of education and the role lyceum plays in shaping young minds. His words were a reminder of why we are here and the impact we can have on our students.
During the assembly, there was a heartwarming ceremony to recognize the dedication of our staff. Both academic and non-academic staff members who have completed five and ten years of service at lyceum were awarded. It was wonderful to see my colleagues honored for their hard work and commitment. Their dedication is truly inspiring and motivates us all to strive for excellence.
As I reflect on the day, I feel incredibly happy and grateful to be part of this family. In just one year, I have learned so much and gained valuable experiences that will benefit me throughout my life. Celebrating Founders Day has deepened my appreciation for our school’s rich history and the shared mission we all work towards.
This school is more than just a workplace for me, it’s a community where we support each other and grow together. I look forward to many more Founders Day celebrations and continuing to contribute to the legacy of excellence at lyceum.
