Hello guys how are you? last few days I could not write anything because I had a lot of work to do. So I would like to tell you a little bit about the current situation in Sri Lanka.First of all, I never thought in my life that this would happen to Sri Lanka.

In the last few months, the government has been warned many times that the Sri Lankan economy is about to collapse. It all started with a small line of petrol and diesel.
A lot of things happened to people because of these issues. Taxi drivers could not find their monthly income due to lack of fuel, some mothers could not cook at home, lost enough oil to run factories. People have been waiting in line for days for oil to arrive. This problem did not stop with diesel as well as petrol.
Next people had to queue for gas. I did not see the government showing much interest in any of this. The government knew that the Sri Lankan economy was collapsing but they did not want to accept it. Innocent people in the country are suffering so much. Top government officials held debates in Parliament on people's tax money. You really can't believe it when you say these things. It costs close to Rs. 10 million of Sri Lankan money to convene our Parliament once in a while. It doesn't matter if justice is done to the suffering people.

The rajapaksha family brought down the entire economy of Sri Lanka. Young boys and girls in Sri Lanka came forward against the rajapaksha family. Because campus boys and girls felt their future was doomed. They won. However, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has not yet resigned as he is greedy for power and will have to pay for his past actions if he steps down.
With this situation today the people of Sri Lanka have no way to get the food they need. The prices of goods went up, the importation of essential goods stopped and the people of Sri Lanka became more helpless due to such things. Also, today many people are leaving Sri Lanka. I am really sad about what happened to Sri Lanka. I'm really scared of the people of Sri Lanka and the little kids who face the future.
