Ohiya through Nuwara eliya _ 10% for Sl-Charity

Hello friends, After a long time...I'm trying to tell you about the beautiful trip .

When we went home for the holiday we went to Nuwara Eliya. We could not go anywhere because of the covid-19 epidemic. So we decided to go for a walk with a change. My mom, wife, wife's father and sister joined us on this trip. We could not leave the house in the morning. Because we had to take the morning alms to the village temple. It was about half-past nine in the morning when we left the house. We decided to go out of town via Horton Plains. Because if we go to Horton Plains in the morning we can see the 'goona'. Because they come to Horton Plains early in the morning.

When we went to Horton Plains, the surroundings were cold. Also, it was almost raining that day. The surroundings of Horton Plains are beautiful.

When we go to Horton Plains, there were a lot of vehicles in the park. Also, when you cross the Horton Plains, you can see many endemic plants of Sri Lanka. 'Maha Ratmala' is one of them. As we came across Horton Plains we came across the Ohiya train station.

Looking at Horton Plains we next went to Ambewela Farm. The Ambewela Farm has not yet been opened to tourists due to the covid - 19 epidemic. Many people came to see the Ambewela farm. We wait there for a while. There is also a shop owned by Ambewela Farm. We did not forget to eat yoghurt before leaving. Because the yoghurt there is so delicious.

We left there and came to Nuwara Eliya town. We had our lunch at a restaurant in Nuwara Eliya Town.

Lake Gregory is one of the most memorable places in Nuwara Eliya. Back then, Gregory Lake was very crowded. People who used to stay at home due to the covid-19 epidemic are now used to going on excursions. That is why a lot of people came to Nuwara Eliya town. We stayed for a while near Lake Gregory and left to return home. Also, we did not forget to buy vegetables. About six in the evening we were able to return home.
