I usually watch movies in genres such as action, crime, horror, adventure, and fantasy. So I have less taste in Comedy and Romance movies. But a few days ago, I watched a review of Chris Stuckman on the movie, "Marry Me". And it compelled me to watch it..

Before watching the review, I thought it is a documentary movie. So I had zero interest. After watching the review, I understood that it's a rom-com. After checking some details, I saw it was distributed by Universal Pictures. So I downloaded it.

So as I said earlier, It's a Rom-Com. And the other thing is it's a musical movie. There are some beautiful songs. And you know Jennifer Lopez stars as the main actress. As we all know, she's a great singer. And there's "Maluma" who's a Colombian Singer who has a great voice. So the musical experience is next level..

So.. Talking About the Movie..

Kat Valdez (J. Lo) is a pop star who has Three divorces behind her and her current boyfriend is Sebastian (Maluma) who is a Latino singer. They are going to marry on stage after a live performance of their brand new hit song "Marry Me".

A few minutes before the marriage, she gets to know that Sebastian was cheating on her and he was having an affair with her assistant. So, now she's utterly disappointed. And still, she wants to marry.. Not Sebastian but one of her fans..

And that lucky man was chosen from the spectators of the live event. So, she randomly chooses "Charlie Gilbert" who is a single Mathematics Teacher with a daughter. He says "Yes" to Kat Valdez and there.. she marries a complete stranger..

So this stranger.. at first, he said "Yes" just to rescue Kat Valdez from the embarrassment. And when they get to know each other, when they communicate with each other.. they kinda build this amazing Chemistry between them..

But you know, some nick pics are there.. So, how will they end up? I know I know.. You've already guessed right how it ends.. But you don't know what kinda things happen in the middle.. For that, you have to watch the movie..

Talking about My Experience..

I had no high hopes when I started to watch the movie. So, comparing with the experience I had.. I really enjoyed the movie. The plot is good.. The songs are really good. Universal Pictures had spent around 25$ Million on this movie.. So, the production quality is really good and I have no blemishes to say..

Talking about the Ratings..

You know, these Rom-Com movies have plots that have zero potential to really happen. So these movies get bad ratings from websites such as rottentomatoes. And we can see that here too. But including me, the general audience has liked the movie. We can see that from the IMDB rating. So I can say, as a general spectator, you'll be able to enjoy this movie. So enjoy it.. 😉
