When Someone Got the First Salary | 5% to SL Charity

Yesterday one person called me and informed me that she needs to buy some gifts for her parents and loved ones from her first salary. I am here always ready to go on shopping with her told that "I'm coming" even without asking. 😊She should be lucky to have a friend like me. This kind of friend is very rare these days.

We agreed to meet at around 10 am and it was 10 am when I woke up and saw her good morning text 40 minutes ago. She was wondering whether shops are open or not as today is a full moon poya day. Most of the shops were opened on last poya day as most of the days in these two years they remained closed. So, I guessed that there are open today.

Then we decided to meet after we got ready. It was around 11:45 am when we met. Our shopping list asked us to go to textile shops. We started from the middle. 😅 First we went to ASB fashion and looked around. We selected t-shirts for her brothers and one blouse for her. Then we decided not to buy everything from one place as every shop needs to have a business. 🤭

Then we walked to Dolosmahe shop and selected a few items. After going up and down in the complex we went to its gents' section to buy a gift for her father and brother-in-law. What we noticed was, these days boys were flower printed t-shirts and girls wear boys' type T-shirts. 😂 Also there is a trend of t-shirts with newspaper print which I don't see any beauty in. I counted the number of teenagers wearing those t-shirts while walking in the town.

While going to a craft item shop we saw a newly built fashion house which was forgotten by us with time. We went there and fitted on some frocks and gave up on it as on aunt followed us wearing what we tried to wear. Then we came back looking the other side of the road just to find whether our favorite cafe is open or not. Unfortunately, it was closed and one who was with me dying from thirst.

We went to PnS shop on the way back to drink something. The greatest fear was to remove the mask. We ate it quickly and went back to Dilan fashion house to buy the remaining dresses. There we selected some for her sister she was bothering me to select one for me too. But I don't want anything from her. Then she finally select one blouse for me mentioning that she has the same one.

Later we went to another shop to buy gifts for Nawo and for her sister's birthday. After selecting two beautiful purses we looked around here and there and picked some hair clips and creams. It was the last shop we visited. Then we came back to the bus station and I called my father to pick me.

It was a good day indeed but we could not have a photo. That was sad. We still could not pick at least a single photo from her iPhone. Better luck next time! After coming back I unpacked what she gave me and there were cute, sweet, beautiful things. Rasi @rasinkani is the one who got her first salary and I wish her every success in the journey ahead.
