We celebrated it...

Last time I shared about our well-happened morning surprise for our little boy on his birthday. In case you missed it, you can read it from right here.

So, here is another story. We wanted to celebrate the day. It was not a party, but just to make our little boy happy. And also, we wanted to take some photos of our little boy on his 3rd birthday. If you have watched the Tamil movie "96," you may remember what K Ramachandran said: "Photos are the only thing that can stop time."

So, I took over the job of decorating the wall. My sister-in-law had bought balloons in blue and white, a small Happy Birthday banner and crape tapes in the same two colors. I wanted to decorate the wall as a heart shape. So at first, I placed the banner in the middle of the wall and started creating a heart using balloons around the banner. I started from the upper part of the heart, and it came out well balanced at the beginning.

But our little guy didn’t let me finish the lower part for a long time. He was playing around me, trying to remove the balloons that I was fixing. Finally, I was able to send him to play with his grandpa. Then, after trying for some time, I was able to get the lower part also to be as balanced as possible. At the end, there was only one white balloon left since our birthday boy had taken a few of them for playing and they had popped. So, I placed the remaining one in the middle of the heart shape. And finally, it looked so cute. Isn’t it?

His grandpa gifted the birthday outfit for our boy. They were a cute little t shirt and a short. Then his mother made him dress, and it looked so nice on him. Then we arranged a small table with the birthday cake and sweets. We had brought homemade Kawm and Kiri Tofee, and his mom and dad had bought a few more tasty sweets as well.

After that, next was the hardest part; taking photos of our little boy. He is a mischievous boy who cannot be in one posture for at least one second. He is such an active boy who doesn’t keep standing at one place without moving. So we quickly took some clicks and fortunately, a few of them came out nice.

Then we tried taking photos with his mom and dad, with his grandma and grandpa, and with me. Then his mother cut the birthday cake, but he refused to be there any longer and wanted to start playing again with his new birthday gifts. Yes, he got more toys from mom and dad, from grandma, and, of course, from his loving aunty as well.

Then we started preparing the dinner. We helped my mom, and she cooked a very delicious meal. We had invited the family who lives next door for dinner. They came at around 7 p.m. Our little guy enjoyed a great time playing with his two-year-old friend who lives next door.

Anyhow, it was a well spent day for our birthday boy, and we also enjoyed a lot. His third birthday will remain as very beautiful memories in our minds.
