Are you aware of toxicants?
Toxicology is a very important subject for our lives. We are not thinking about this. Because day by day of our life we are collecting the toxics. Toxic effect to the chronic kidney disease. 10% of life span has chronic effect. As a example 20 year person exposed to chemical during complete 2 years. Did you think about that?? Therefore, we should not get toxic with knowing about toxicology. The garlic can reduce the toxicity of the body.
Ok! Now I'm going to speak about toxicology. Why are we learn it? Toxic mean adverse effect of chemical on living organisms. The father of the toxicology is Paracelsus. (1493-1541) He is swiss physician. He said that.
"what is there that is not poison? All things are poison & nothing is without poison. The dose makes the poisonous"

Yes, I am agree. All the things around us all are poisonous. Suppose that if you drink water more than your thirsty that can't you tolerate. It should be poisonous. Because water has various types of chemicals and hard metals etc. Therefore, we can't get anything for our body without knowing about their does.
In history of toxicology, we can find more examples of toxicology.
In the past Roman town felt poisonous due to use of lead (Pb) water pipes. This is the first large-scale aquatic environmental issue in history.
Coal burning is most effect to the environmental problems like global warming. This coal-burning induced acid rains. Acid rains can affect to the toxicology. Acid rains generate by forming clouds with sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides react with water. Then aqueous solution of the acid comes down with rain.
Another example is in the japan. There was a city on Minamata. In 1932 and 1968 the mercury (Hg) contaminates with water of the bay. Therefore, human felt down the disease. These disease called Minamata disease. Using the city name for disease.
Do you know there are two types of words in toxicology! They are toxin and toxicants. Toxin is toxic substances produced by biological system such as plant, animal, fungi or bacteria. Toxicants produce by product of anthropogenic activities. As an example As is contaminate with ground water by industrial activity.
This is brief discussion of toxicology. We cannot complete to learn about toxicology. In future world, Oh! I cannot think about. Sometimes we will live within toxic environment. Therefore, we should know how to decrease toxic effect for good healthy life.
