Kasun's Big Day!

Today was the big day of our team member Kasun. He had invited whole the staff to join his wedding event which was organized in Kurunagala. Kurunagala is about 2.30h from Colombo so we had to depart early to reach the destination by 12 noon.

We started our travel from Colombo around 10 a.m. It was 12.30 p.m when we reach Kurunagala. It was almost late so we had to sit at the table just in front of the Music Band. So we had to speak loudly with each other to overcome the sound of the band.

After enjoying the welcome drink we spent some time talking with each other. The couple was dressed in Kandian Style. Kasun introduced her beautiful bride to us.

Finally, it was the most awaited time :) the Lunch.

The lunch buffet was also good and there was a huge variety of rice, curries, and salads. Desert was better than the main meal. I specifically enjoyed delicious watalappam and clustered pudding with ice cream.

I saw that the watalappam was the most demanding one among all.

After lunch, we spend some time listening to songs and taking some photos with the couple.

Around 3 pm we had to turn back because it takes time to come back. It was a charming and elegant wedding which we all enjoyed a lot. I wish our new couple all the best to be together forever with love and affection.
