I am the Owner, No Crows are Allowed - Dog

Even though I slept late yesterday, I waked up so early in the morning to go home from boarding.

It was a surprise when I come to the bus halt (around 6.15 p.m) there was no one at the halt and even on the road. I could get a fresh breath and had the freedom to look around.

What you see above is a Robarosia tree but corrupted with sunburn and dust. I didn't see the pink color that I saw in Robarosia flowers before.

Noice of crows took my attention in another direction.

A Group of crows was sitting on an electricity line and calling each other loudly. Urban crows and village crows are different. The neck of urban crows in Sri Lanka is slightly gray. Crows found in villages are completely black and obviously clean :)

These crows were there in a circle to enjoy some pieces of biscuits someone put near the halt.

There are people who feed pigeons and crows with seeds and biscuits. In the urbanized areas around Colombo, the only birds we can frequently see are pigeons and crows. Sometimes I keep watching how men feed birds with seeds. This was a similar thing, someone had fed them with pieces of biscuits early morning before everyone wakes up.

The peace was broken with the arrival of the street dog who lives in this bus halt. The owner came, peeped to food and birds flew away. It wasn't his taste anyway. He acquires the whole place by shooing away birds y and signed off by few drops of liquids.

It was a kind of mind-changing thing that met my eyes during the past restless weeks.
