I am not strong enough to stop the tears in my eyes each time this incident comes to my mind. Sri Lanka suffered for 30 years from Civil War in North till 2007 and after the war ends we had a pretty good life till 2019 April.

It was Easter Sunday 2019. Thousands of Catholic devotees are involved in their religious activities without knowing this is their last day of life. 😔 I am not a Catholic, and I was traveling to university as it was Sunday. I saw how crowded Churches are and how they dressed well and participated in prayers.

It was a well-planned attack. Three main churches and three top starts were attacked by seven suicide bombers at sharp at 8.45 a.m.😔. More than 300 innocent devotees were killed. Some bodies were destroyed into pieces without making any evidence to recognize them. The rest of the devotees got lifetime injuries. Children lost their parents. Parents lost children.

Some lanes were abandoned without any living family. It was the scariest annihilation I have ever seen in my eyes.

All dead bodies are buried in common cemeteries. Many of the bodies had no relations to take them as all of them were dead. How to stay without crying.

During the search, another multiple suicide bombers exploded themselves and multiple policemen dead.

Who did this? No one took the responsibility of this annihilation until we see the leaked intelligence service letter which contained pre warnings of the attack.

Yes, the authorities already had the warnings of the attack from Intelligence Services but they NEVER passed the message to the general public. The pathetic thing is this letter had been sent to ministers and VIPs and even they hadn't informed any civilians that they are going to die. Isn't this bring tears to you eyes?

They knew that their own people are going to die but never warned. The breakdown of this country started with this brutal crime.

The attack was initiated by a team of local extremists and after some days I**s published that this happened with their support. Some says this attack is revenge to the Christ Church attack that happened in New Zealand.

The bitter truth is even though it has been 3 years to easter Sunday attack but still no one got a final decision for involving this crime. Because all the VIPs are intentionally hiding they are guilty. There an investigation that took almost a year and they printed a book with two big volumes of statements but never declared a convict and never declared a final decision on the court case. It's a shame

Even after three years, every single civilian including me, begged for justice for the human those who were killed brutally. Not only Catholics but also Muslims, Buddhists, and Hindus.

Only one wish.. Say no to Extremism. We all are human and we will die one day. Just spread love.
