We all love to read books… so today my topic is about books but it is different because I am going to tell about some medicine books…A lot of my friends tell me about books and I know they love to read books…

After selecting the medical school, we know we have to get knowledge...Books are one way to get knowledge in med school…In our faculty, there are 15 departments and 18 units…but I know about books that are important in the first two years… In the first two years, we have to learn about Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry… In Anatomy, there are three parts, Gross anatomy, Histology, and Embryology…

For all these subjects there is a recommended book, maybe more books…For Gross anatomy, the best book is the Last anatomy…There are more anatomy books like Gray’s anatomy, snell clinical anatomy, chaurasia’s human anatomy, etc…But the best one is the Last anatomy, but more med students not going to read it because it is somewhat hard to read and understand…also there are books called atlas… Med students use these books as an aid in dissection.. because they contain only pictures… There are two atlas books we use, they are Grant’s Atlas and netter’s Atlas… Also, there is a book called Mcminn’s Atlas, It contains real dissection phots of human body…So if you are like to see them you can find the book on google and can free download it…

Like this for Histology, there is a book called wheater’s functional histology and for Embryology, there is a book called Langman’s medical embryology... So as good medical students, we should read all these books… but I think there are no medical students who completely read all books.. because it is very hard to read all books because each book contains more than 1000 pages…

In physiology, there are two books… There are Guyton and hall medical physiology and Ganong’s review of medical physiology… The most important one is later one… we must read this book…
In biochemistry, another two books …Harper’s illustrated biochemistry and Lippincott biochemistry… So like that there are a lot of books to read… But we do not read all books because it is not easy… Also, these books are very valuable… one book is more than 5000/= Ruppes… So we read PDF because they are freely available…

So I think these books may be important for those who like to read books…
