Hello... ! Steemians, Today I am goint to talk about Adequate Sleep."This is my 1st post to #steemsrilanka community. But this is my 5th to #steemit.

Sleep is a common physical activity of humans as well as all living things on earth.Adequate sleep is essential for maintaining peace of mind.Getting a good night's sleep is essential for growing children as well as those in schools.

During sleep, some important functions take place in our bodies.Sleep also gives us the opportunity to regain the energy expended by our body.Sleep also helps to heal our body from disasters.You all have that experience.Do we not feel overwhelmed when we are constantly working on something?After taking a few minutes of nap in the middle of the day, we no longer feel uncomfortable doing the work.We will be able to complete that task again with new vigor.

According to health guidelines, let's look at how much sleep we need.

Let's see what happens if we don't get enough sleep.Inadequate sleep can lead to short-term discomfort as well as long-term illness.

Short-term difficulties.

  1. Headache
  2. Weakness of the body

Chronic morbidity

  1. Heart Disease
  2. Diabetes
  3. Obesity
  4. Mental Illness


Children of school age do not even get enough sleep, which can interfere with their education.This sleep deprivation can lead to memory loss in children of school age.There they lose the ability to solve problems using subjects.Sleep deprivation for the sake of education is not a successful method.If not only children but also adults continue to fall asleep, it should be stopped because we become ill without knowing it.If we get enough sleep 24 hours a day and manage the rest of the day properly, we will be able to do our work properly.

Looking at these facts, it is now clear how important the process of sleep is to us.I hope you have a rough idea of ​​how to do our daily routine with adequate sleep.
