Wewathanna Journey | Part 1

I dissapeared for 4 days due to my vacation trip. That was the trip which we planned for months. First we thought to go on last November unfortunately we couldn't because of my issues. Finally we were able to make it work and um here to share with you about that long waited journey.

Our destination was Wewathanna in Kandy. It's situated near to Theldeniya. I went to Kandy from my home and joined with my friends. All the planning things were done by my friends and my only responsibility was joining and having da fun. We grabbed everything we needed after doing some shopping. As I've never being a part of a night camping trip I was so excited and everything seemed pretty cool.

There are 40kms from Kandy to the Wewathanna Camping site. I think it was evening, may be 3 or 4 when we reached there. It was like a hike of 1-2 kms from the main road to the camping site. It was a bit tired journey with some rain drops on da way. Once we reached there boys were buys with finding the best place for our tent while akka and I were resting on a bench and enjoying the view.

Boys made the tent very fast and we made some tea because I was shaking with that heavy coldness. Mist has started to cover the area. After having some tea, we went to see the lake near our tent and it looked so beautiful.

Then in da evening my friends started to play cricket, while I was sitting and watching in da van. I was struggling with the cool climate there. But Akka and the boys always cared for me like a baby. After the darkness came and covered the area completely all gathered in da van and were playing cards with a big laughter. We could see many lights all over the area, came from other peoples tents.
