Visiting My Favourite Relatives!

This time we missed visting our relatives for sinhala and Hindu new year. So we thought to visit them during this poya Vacation. My mom's brothers are living in Buttala 17kms away from Monaragala. It's a beautiful village situated in Buttala Kataragama road. Most of my childhood dreams were connected with this beautiful village.

First we visited there to see my mom's brothers and their lovely families. We had lunch from one of their homes where my aunty prepares foods, always so welcoming and delicious. Then we all thought to visit my mom's elder sister who lives in Pelwatta block 11 area which is a rural viallge far from buttala. It was like a small family trip.

My loku amma and loku thaththa is the loveliest couple I've ever seen. Any woman will dream to have a husband like my loku thaththa. Currently they live in their old house in that rural village which sheltred them for years,deciding not to disturb their married childrens' lives. They were so happy to welcome all of us to their home. Like an old painting they were standing infront of their house waiting for us.

Moreover we were happy to meet our cousin sisters and brothers with thier babies. It was a nice family gathering!
