My Down South Journey-1| A visit to Light House

As my mom said once I've been to see the light house in dewundara thuduwa 20 years ago. She said that there is a photo of me and my sister with the light house. I can not say exacatly whether this is the memory which is forcing me to visit that beautiful light house in Dewndara thuduwa. But something inside in my mind, like a dream forced me to visit it. This is all about my light house journey.

When you got down from the bus at dewundara Dewalaya you can hire a three wheeler or you can use your legs for that walking distance. First I went inside the dewundara dewalaya and dewundara temple. Since it was poya day, it was crowded. Then we started walking toward the light house. On the way we met a three wheeler to go to the place.

Light house in my dreams looked so gracious. It stood in the ground saying like um the king here! Such a lovely place to visit. Waves were coming and going and they are so much lucky to meet this beautiful white palace. Coconut trees along the beach has added an extra beauty to the beach as well as for the light house.

We were not fortunate to enter or climb in the light house as it was not the day they allow for it. After 2 pm on every saturday you are allwoed to climb to the top of the light house.As the three wheel driver said it gives you a amzing view point to watch the area. Anyhow we walked around the light house while taking some pictures.

Some people were bathing a place around the light house and that water looked in light green, as you see in the picture. It is my favourite colour of the sea water. It feels like so fresh and pure! After visiting the place we bought a mango juice, from a nearby shop which is much expensive than normal.

I convereted my light house dream in to a reality, at the end.
