Crocodile Pond, Deer & Monkeys!

As I mentioned in my previous posts, this is the last part of my journey. Today um gonna give an special attention towards the Kudumbigala Arama complex and Okanda dewalaya. Kudumbigala monestary complex is a buddihst religious place where monks are meditating, in the forest. Truly the place has that calm and quiet vibe and I understand that was an ideal place for meditating as it gives no disturbances.

Walking through the arama complex made me so quiet as I felt like, if I utter a single word that will destroy all the peace around. There were some steps between the rocks and the jungle and that was the path for the temple on the rock. I loved the place because it has tried a lot to let the nature to live the way it is. This handsome deer(I dont know it's name) was at the top, and he was very familiar with humans.

This pond is called as crocodile pond and we were advised not to go closer as it has two crocodiles inside the pond.

As the last part of our journey we have chosen Okanda dewalaya and Kumana national park. Even though we had to skip kumana national park, we were able to visit Okanda dewalaya. You will be surprised if I say the monkeys are one of my favourite creatures on this earth. Okanda dewalaya is a home for a group of monekys and it was a great pleasure to see them!
