Coconut Tree Hill- Mirissa

Main destination of our second day was Coconut tree hill in Mirissa. It's a favourite place of many Sri Lankans and foreigners. I think many of you might have visited this beautiful place. When I reached the place the first thing took my attention was this swing which was facing to the sea. Before going to the hill I sat on this to enjoy for a while. As you know beaches in down south are so attractive with it's beautiful colours. Mirissa too had taken that identity.

When we climb to the top, i mean the coconut tree hill it was full of local and foreign travellers, along with some local dogs. They were busy with taking pictures with local dogs. That sea view was so beautiful. There were so many coconut trees on the hill. Sand looked in dark brown. It was differ from what I saw in photos. Looking from the hill was just amazing. It covered a huge area which is contributed for natural beauty. You should go there!

First we thought Mirissa is a good place for bathing. But we got to know that it's not suitable for bathing in these days. So we had to find an another place for bathing. A three wheel driver suggested to go to Polhena. So let's meet again with my Polhena journey!
