After Decades!

Once upon a time I had a beautiful friend called imesha. I like to start my story like this. She has an affair of 15 years and yesterday it converted in to a marriage life. When I was doing my A/L s she was my best friend and we were really good friends. She helped me a lot through my journey. Time passed, we took different paths, we did not call or text each other every day or at least once a week, but we never apart. Still she is one of the bestest people in my life. Yesterday was her big day!

She was married in to her love of her life. They have a 15 years of love story which came along a difficult path. As usual my preparations were done on night day before the function. This time I had to go to the wedding hall by myself. When I went there some of my childhood friends has gathered to the occassion. My friend Imesha came to me and warmly welcomed me with hugs. Wholeheartedly I was so excited to see her as a beautiful bride.

Then I met my childhood friends. It felt like the time had done nothing for us. We gathered, shared our things and enjoyed the day together. It was one of my type wedding functions, which looked very simple. As the poruwa ceromany was finished I have no idea of the way It went. There was no any surprise dances or Mangala Sabha at the end. The only thing after the lunch was dancing! People who love to dance got their chance of enjoying.

Finally we got this cute and valuble gift from the couple. I adore it. May their love burn brightly forever!
