My weekend 💁

I spend two types of weekends. As my husband works far away, we meet in weekends. Those weekends are busier ones for me and other weekends when he's not at home, I used to spend time on my bed watching movies. When he's at home I make (expeiments) various foods prepare by myself, sometimes we go out for a date. We rarely get chance to go on long trips.

Usually on Saturday morning we have homemade Milk rice, Kolakenda, pol roti, hoppers for breakfast. As It's a holiday I can taste it freely. Delicious meal helps to get rid of the tiredness of a whole week.
The most famous food outing placesof both of us are,
Cafe 007 and pizza hut. We have tasted almost all foods of them. It's so sad that we have only few good places in here.
If we want to have fried rice or biriyani we choose a small cafe called "cinnamon cafe" and "bika" .

Last weekends I made hoppers and string hoppers with my mother. Homemade hoppers are more delicious for me.
These days it's more pocket friendly if we avoid eating outside. Earlier I used to use my oven often but the electricity bill and baking good price has significantly increased within past months . So I rarely use my oven now.

Other than cooking I like to take care of plants too. Our garden is still to be renovated. So we keep plants on our verandah.

During last few months it was very difficult to save plants from heavy temperature.

Other than these I love to watch movies and dramas. I watch them via online most. Few months ago I went to see "openheimer" at scoops cinema kollupitiya and "Kadira divyaraja" at local cinema hall. It was my cinema hall experience after a while.

As the school vacation started we got the chance to visit some places we've been waiting to see. I'll write about them in future articles.
