Omaya Hills

Today I’m going to share with you a review of another place we have visited few months ago. Its name is Omaya Hills. It is situated in Moon plains, Nuwaraeliya. We visited that place during our Nuwaraeliya trip, and we stayed there one night.

Considering the environment surrounding that place is very calm and beautiful. You can see vegetable fields in front of the hotel. And this place is near to Gregory Park as well And also near to the Moon plain as well. Therefore, many people came to this place.

Considering the prices of this place is affordable. It was 10,000 LKR for 2 adults for a night with BB. You can book any meal plans from them as FB, HB and BB. There was a chef to prepare meals. Since we have booked BB, they have arranged a traditional breakfast for us, and it consisted of two curries with pol sambol and rice. Since they used fresh vegetables, it was very tasty.

Now I will tell you about the room type. They have double rooms and family rooms. We have booked a double room. Considering the textures of the rooms, they have been made with wood. There are attached bathrooms for each room.

But when considering the facilities here had some issues. The main issue we have faced is the washroom issue. The door of our washroom cannot completely close and also having some issue in the sink. May be those are only for our rooms, and I don’t have idea about the other rooms. Considering other things, we could accept them when thinking about the price. Another thing I wanted to highlight is, if you had some tea, coffee or anything you will have to pay for that separately.

If you would like to travel in daytime and only use this place to have a sleep, then this place is ok for that. Other than that, I would not like to recommend this place and if I give a rate out of 10, then I can rate this as 5 or 6.
