Slitt’s Got Talent 24

My friend’s husband replaced me as my friend’s best friend after 6 years of marriage, and now, her younger sister has taken me into her best friend 😅 my friend used to get very jealous even in those days when her sis hanged out with me and her jealousy is still same. However, whenever she complains about that now, our answer to irritate is you got married and turned yourself into full time housewife. So I gotta spend more time with her sis than her now.

As an undergrad of Sliit, her sis wanted to attend their annual event Sliit Got Talent and had been asking from me weekly to join her. These sorts of events are not quite my thing, so I was very reluctant to join her. However, I had to gave into her nagging and thought, “ok why not just go there as I’m also free that day”.

It was supposed to hold in Nelum Pokuna theater, so we reached there few minutes before the staring time. Performances are fun but – like an old woman – I couldn’t help thinking that our uni events and audience were better because we could actually have fun at events because the atmosphere was bit different here. When I was thinking exactly that, Randeer and BnS attended as performers which busted my judgmental mindset. That’s when we two actually started to have fun by grooving to the rhythm and dancing. On a serious note, it should be appreciated how all of students got together to make such a giant event successful as it is not an easy task to plan such an high-end event.

This is something I would never have any thoughts of attending but I got to try a new thing thanks to my friend’s sis.
