Be a fan of your story

When it marks the beginning of one another new year, and the beginning of the last week that I would be 22 years old, I wanted to look back at my 22nd to welcome the new year and being my 23rd.

I’m a travelling freak. So the first thing I thought about is the places I travelled. I started my year with travelling to Wawunia and then to Nuwara Eliya and Kandy. Last year is almost dedicated to Kandy and Hatton I think because I visited Kandy for four times and Hatton two times within the last 12 months. I also backpacked to Negombo and Unawatuna. So I think I could conclude as a good year for travelling fever.

And the next big thing happened in the last year is that I could get back to track properly again after a break of two years. It marked the first year of me representing a university in a track anf field competition. The biggest relief was I could complete two diplomas which I have always wanted to do. I could get a break from overworking because only thing I had to concentrate after completing those two diplomas is my degree alone.

This is a time when everyone post their biggest achievements of the year but many struggles rae hidden just like I didn’t mention the neck injury I had last ear which caused me to wear a neck collar for two years… my weight loss due to over working while tackling with two dips, a degree and training sessions…. how I became a beggar every time after travelling… So what I wanted to tell you is not to compare yourself with another’s achievements. You are you. You had your own story, own struggles and own achievements. Be always happy with your story and be a fan of your story and strive to make it an interesting one.
