Back in Six Yards| 5% for SL Charity.

I had to wear saree daily when I was working in the school. I enjoyed wearing different saree, matching them with high heels and doing my hair. But ever since I resigned from the school as a teacher, I didn’t get the chance to wear a saree again. I started missing wearing a saree after an absence of total two years. I felt like wearing a saree whenever I saw my saree collection at home, but I had no place to wear a saree.

I got invited to a wedding of an akka who used to be my colleague at Sussex College. We didn’t get a chance to meet each other much after my resignation but we still keep in touch with each other. At first, I thought of wearing a frock cz there was some unworn maxi dresses that I have bought recently. I was searching for places to wear them. so I selected a dress from them and I didn’t need to prepare anything cz I could find matching high heel, a pouch and jewelry for that dress. But all of a sudden, I wanted to wear a saree, when the wedding got closer!

I went through the sarees I had and my by sis’ also to find a suitable saree for the wedding. Then I found a saree which I wore my best friend’s saree. I liked that jacket a lot, so I wanted to give it a shot. I tried it in suspense because I wore that in 2018, almost four years ago. But the jacket perfectly fits me. I could easily found a matching high heel and a pouch for that from home, so everything fit perfectly. Then I changed my plan into wearing a saree.

So finally, I was able to spend a happy time within that six yard of the saree after two years!
