Christmas at home
When December comes itself, what we would usually be busy with is Christmas preparations. Christmas was at our mind too ever since the end of November but we couldn’t actually by busy with xmas this time as we are still busy with arranging the rooms and our belongings after changing our house. When it was time to decorate the xmas tree only, we realized that we were in a big trouble!
We had forgotten to bring the xmass tree and decorations when we shifted our belongings from my childhood house to the new house. I kept asking my mum and sis whether we brought them since I didn’t remember I packed them. They reassured me that they should be in some bags which we were yet to unpack and arrange. But we had actually left forgotten to pack those. We had to make a quick back up plan. My sis suggested to buy a new tree, but it will be a waste to buy another since we already have another. We had two 3 feet xmas trees which we used to decorate at our boardings which became the xmas trees of our home this year. My sis did a last min shopping for ornaments and garlands because what we had bought for the boarding xmas tree were not enough.
Bella's first xmas
I felt like something is missing after decorating one xmas tree. Even though it is not the tradition to decorate two xmas trees at home, I thought to have the other xmas tree too. I was finally satisfied with the outcome after decorating the both. It really felt like xmas when the family gathered around to turn the lights of the tree. The next exciting thing would be to sneakily keep the gifts underneath and wake up to unwrap the gifts!
