Marble Game // Back to childhood // Can you accept the challenge? // 5% to SL-Charity

Since I was a little kid, I loved to play with marbles. There are different kinds of ways to play with marbles. Yesterday, I went to a bookshop and suddenly I saw a box of marbles there. Immediately I remembered my childhood as a kid. I used to play with these marbles with my friends and I had a big collection of different kinds of marbles. I went there to get some printouts for my exam works. But the first thing I did was buying some marbles to play with my brother and sisters.

This game requires at least 2 people to play. We have to clean the ground to prepare the playing space. My brother is in grade 10 and he doesn’t know how to play. I could not tolerate it. These days kids are trapped with this online thing. They are actually not enjoying their childhood as we did. If I happen to have kids on some days, I will never allow them to get into this trap. Most of the Sri Lankan people are getting into this with or without knowledge because they have no more options.

At first, I taught him the rules of the game. After that, we played it and all the time I won. Haha! I can not imagine he could not touch at least one marble. This game needs practice and focus on the target marble. I think he will also be able to win if he practised well.

I played this game today after 6-7 years as I remember. After few minutes all my past abilities got into action and my brother can not even think how I shot the exact marble which is placed inside the rectangle on the ground.

I really enjoyed this game today. All my past memories were refreshed. Some of my friends who played this game with me now have kids also. I am still learning. Sad story right?
