It Has been raining for days. As it says in news on TV, I think to experience this heavy rain in everyone in Sri Lanka. When I came to steemit, @randulakoralage organized a very interesting contest on rain. Here is my entry for the contest.
The weather situation in our area
In our area, it is raining mostly every day. Two days ago, the sun came out after a long long time. We were happy because finally, the rain stopped. Oh..nooo..we were wrong...Yesterday morning it started again. Literally, the sky is in such a bad mood these days. She is always crying too much.
How it affected my daily routine
I am a person who does the job from home. On other days, I wake up, do my stuff and start work. In the evening, after I stopped work, I spent time with my family, doing some of my work and sleeping. This is my routine normally. Due to rain, it has not changed because I work from home.
How it affected my health, economy, and things that I have experienced
There are no changes in my health or my economy as I think. But sometimes, due to heavey rain and thoundering, the internaet connection get slow or lost. This is the worst thing I am experianceing these days.
There are plenty of people out there who can not do anything because of the rain and the current situation in the country. I am telling this because my sister and I experienced one instance yesterday. We had to go out yesterday evening to buy a few things. In Front Of the shop, there was a very weak Seeya. He asked for money from people who came to the shop. We felt so sad, the way that he looked at people. There is nothing else we can do, except give some money. So we also gave some money. He was very happy and smiled.
Thoughts and feelings with the rain
I love when it is raining. The cool weather all day keeps the entire day super fresh. I love that freshness too much. However, on the other hand, it feels like a disaster. Too many accidents happen due to heavy rain.
Changes of environment and surrounding with the weather
After the rain, everything gets fresh and wet. A few days back, the plants looked so weak and yellow. But after having good rain, everything becomes green and the ground becomes muddy.
It is very comfortable for our eyes and makes us feel fresh too.
Internet connection is so bad here too 😥. Do you remember the rainy days at hostel. we were looking at rain instead of reading 😅.

rain makes env fresh, yes, but same time heavy rain makes a disgusting feeling sometimes. isn't it?

yes..of course..at that time feel boredom that cannot ignore by doing anything
rain makes a person helpless because some of us work on the streets, but when it rains that person can't look for other sources just stay silent. but you don't he is very lucky to have found someone as good as you, helping him for a few days.
