Trip to Kerala – Day 01

Hello Steemers,

Kerala is one of the most beautiful states in India population is about 3.4 corers. Even on the first day in India itself, I need to visit Kerala it was my neighboring state at that time lots of Kerala students used to study with us they look almost similar to us. And they love sri Lankan people too. Malayalam is their official and main language.

During the second year in 2019, I got a chance to visit Kerala for 3 days visit it’s our botany department's annual trip from the beginning we finalized the trip to Kerala so people suggested some places so finally, we decided to visit Munnar. Munnar is one of the most beautiful districts in Kerala.

Munnar is famous for tea plantations and various beautiful botanical places. So the trip started around 6 pm and we reached the Kerala border around 8 pm and we shifted to another bus it’s like moving to another country in Europe. After a long ride, we reached Munnar around 8 am next day it was a very long journey we had our breakfast at Munnar it was a memorable breakfast because after a very long time I had some familiar Sri Lankan breakfast so there I had “string hoppers and Kiri Hodi” taste is almost similar to ours and looks also same

So during the first day, we visited Munnar city, we visited a famous dam. The city is like Nuwara Eliya city it was very cool during the daytime also tea plantations everywhere this city is located near the Kerala and Tamilnadu border.
So around evening we reached the hotel and it was also located near the beautiful viewpoint. This is how the first day went in the next post I am going to tell about the rest two days
