Nights Without Electricity | 5% to SL- Charity

Hope all are fine and safe at your place during this tough situation. So the last few days are really tough because fuel, electricity, and food are the most essential items for people without those things life is really hard. Last week we faced almost 13-hour power cuts. Long queue in petrol stations. Government tested people too much but now they are realized what happened to them and people start raise their voice.

A massive social media campaign is going on right now. so people planned to do a massive protest on 3rd April but last night government impose an island-wide curfew to reduce that I don’t our ex-military president is that much of an afraid person.

So was sudden curfew impose and people’s day today life is got stuck. And the funniest thing is last night when I was browsing Facebook it was just stuck I realize It happened due to a power cut issue because it happened a recent few days also so I slept and morning I came to know that the government banned all social media including TikTok.

So they are using their dictator power to control people but till then they can’t impose a curfew for a whole year and they can’t impose a social media ban for a lifetime. Today morning onwards lots of protests happening around Colombo and sub-areas so after that they released social media ban around 3.30 pm.

So revolution is already started and the system will change and now what people need to do is stand against this corrupt government and raise their voices against them. And we need our money back which they are stolen from people.
