Trip to Anuradhapura
We haven't gone on a family trip for a long time. We have spent a lot of quality time with family but this is different. My mum and her sister wanted to visit my uncle in Anuradhapura. Family of one of my cousins joined us too. There were 14 people in the journey.
The trip was planned to go for three days. On the first day morning, we started our trip from my cousins place. We went to take my sister and her husband from their house in Panadura next. She had prepared breakfast for us. There were bread and rice for breakfast.
After that we started our journey again. We entered the highway from Galanigama and exited at the end from Kurunegala. We had our lunch and tea on the way. My cousin had bought a big bag containing snacks. So we didn't feel bored along the ride.
In the first day, we planned to stay at one of my cousin's home in Mihinthale. When we arrived there, it was about 4 pm. We had some tea and had a wash to go to Sri Maha Bodhiya and Ruwanweli Seya.
