At Beragala Resort

As I told you in my previous post, the first stop of our batch trip was the Saman Devalaya. After having breakfast, we said bye to the calm place and travelled to our destination. In the meantime, we went to see the Belihul Oya. When we arrived the resort we booked it was about 2 pm. So we were very hungry as we didn't have lunch till we got there. So we had lunch just after getting there even before changing clothes.

Next, we changed clothes and went to a nearby river to bathe. I will tell you that story in another post. We had big hopes about the night when we were returning. But they all went away when a big rain started falling. Many of us got drained from the rain and some even found cold. The rain was there for an hour or two. So we all got our hopes gone and started playing indoor games.

But finally, the rain went away giving up hope. So the fire and meals got ready fast. This was my first time having this kinda experience. And that was good. There were noodles, chicken and sausages for the others. But me and 2 of my other friends don't eat chicken so we got noodles and corn. They were tasty and I liked them.

After the meal, we sang songs and played some team games. I took part in all of them. The fire gave us the warmth needed in that cool weather.

We came to the rooms after the songs and games. We girls had a good chat after that. Anyone couldn't simply sleep after coming to the room. That is one of the unforgettable experiences in my life. I always thank my parents for letting me enjoy life without cutting my wings as many do.
