April Came...

I still feel like this is only the start of 2024 but the reality is that 1/4 has gone faster than anyone thought. On April 1st, my father made me the April fool just after I got up with a small joke. I was waiting till @sandun98 got up to make him also an April Fool with the same joke. And I did that.

I spent some time in the garden checking the growth of the seeds I planted. My father wanted to show me the flowers blooming in a tree. I don't know its English name but we call it "Etteria Flower" in Sinhala. It has a very pleasant smell that I like a lot. Though it is not colourful, I like its look. I spent some time near the tree feeling the calmness I always feel near that tree. I took some photos to show you.

I had a practical that day, so I had to leave home to go to the university. My mum had cooked rice when I went to the kitchen. The meals that she prepares are always tasty as well as so beautiful. She wanted to cook a leeks curry too. But I told her this was more than enough for us.

When we came to the university, it was time for the practicals. We ate this rice parcal after that. We usually can't do anything after having such a tasty and heavy meal. But this time I had to work till night. I am spending my time on research and design project the most. These are the final days we get to do that.

After doing some hard work, I came to the hostel and then I got some well-deserved free time. This is how the month started for me. Let's see how it goes.
